CALIFORNIA SENIOR WOMEN’S AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP REGISTRATION INFORMATION
45th CALIFORNIA SENIOR WOMEN’S AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP

October 9 - 11, 2023
CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:
- 54 holes; stroke play.
- 84 players will compete in the championship
- The field will be flighted based on Handicap Index as of September 25, although all flights will compete without handicaps.
- The California Senior Women’s Amateur champion will be the player with the low 54-hole gross total.
- Flight winners will be awarded after 36 holes.
- Additionally, the super senior contestant (age 65 or older) with the low 36-hole total will also be awarded. If two or more super seniors advance to the final round, their 54-hole total will determine the champion.
Monday, October 9: Round 1 (18 holes)
Tuesday, October 10: Round 2 (18 holes)
Following the second round, the field will be cut to the low 30 players and ties – regardless of flight.
Wednesday, October 11: Round 3 (18 holes)
ELIGIBILITY: The championship is open to female amateur golfers with a Handicap Index of 18.4 or less as of the time of registration. Entrants must have reached their 50th birthday by October 9, 2023. Exempt players will receive priority, then the field will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis.
EXEMPTIONS: All exempt players must still meet eligibility requirements and register online for the championship prior to the entry closing date. The current list of exemptions can be found online by clicking here.
ENTRIES OPEN: Wednesday, January 11, 2023
ENTRY DEADLINE: Sunday, September 24, 2023
ENTRY FEE: $250
INFORMATION & PAIRINGS: Complete tournament details, including information about practice rounds, pairings, starting times, and yardages played, will be emailed and posted online after entries close.
LATE ENTRIES: Late entries will be accepted, assuming space is still available at the given event. Late entries will be subject to an additional $20 fee and can only be processed over the phone or through email.
REFUND POLICY: Requests for refunds prior to the entry closing date will be honored less a $20 administrative fee. Requests received after the entry closing date and 48 hours prior to the event will be honored less 50% of the entry fee. No refunds will be honored within 48 hours of the event.
